Matt and I have found another ("another" because the first job we found fell through in a serious way) job in Gwangju. We found this job via Oxford Seminars, the company we took our TEFL certification through. We are slated to leave around May 15th and are going to be teaching at different schools. Matt will be teaching mostly junior high-high students at Avalon and I will be teaching mostly elementary students at Reading Town. Matt, with his English degree, is highly more qualified than I am with my Art degree. I'm just as happy to teach younger kids, it'll be fun (and challenging).
We're excited! We were hoping to end up in Gwangju because it's an arts-centric city that is metropolitan and urban without being overwhelming and as Western as Seoul. Also, there are rocks near-by.

Kia ora/Hi there.
I've just finished your blog back to front.
I came here by clicking on 'Next bog'.
As you can see I stayed a while:)
I guess you guys are back in the US now.
I'm originally from Auckland (NZ) but now live in Kyoto (Japan). I have visited Seoul, Hanoi and Ha Long Bay. The other places you have been interest me.
I like your embroidery especially the ones of the birds from Cape Cod and the ginko (sp?) leaves.
Wishing you and your BF well for the future.
